Why we built it this way
Vehicle taxes and fees vary enough across the United States that one generic percentage is not useful. Our state-specific model gives buyers a better starting point while keeping uncertainty visible.
What we are not
We are not a dealership, lender, DMV or tax authority. We do not present estimates as binding quotes. The best use of the calculator is to prepare for a purchase, compare itemized dealer offers and understand where the final number comes from.
